Citizens Advice offers new debt help

Citizens Advice is offering a new resource to UK consumers who find themselves struggling to cope with their financial problems.

A book entitled a Guide to Your Rights has been launched by the charity and in it are a variety of tips that could help some people avoid the prospect of debt management disaster.

Citizens Advice has explained that its new book has been written with the aim of clarifying certain issues relating to consumer and legal rights that can sometimes lead people to mismanage their own lives and particularly their finances.

“This book gives you the basic information you need to get your head around a problem that needs solving, quickly and easily, whenever you need it,” said Citizens Advice’s chief executive David Harker.

According to the organisation’s own figures, thousands of people approach Citizens Advice for debt help each month across England and Wales.
