People should change their phone providers to get better deals – and possibly reduce the risk of falling into debt – it has been suggested.
Ceri Stanaway, a spokesperson for Which?, has advised individuals to swap companies if they feel they can get a more financially attractive offer elsewhere.
Ms Stanaway recommended that dissatisfied consumers should vote with their feet.
She said: “If you’re not happy with your provider, then switch. Don’t assume that all providers are the same.”
The expert reported that surveys carried out by the consumer magazine group showed home phone services, broadband and television bundles can be “very variable” and so people are advised to shop around.
A press release from uSwitch.com recently disclosed that six out of ten Britons are satisfied with the customer service they receive from their phone company and overall value for money scores dropped from 75 per cent to 67 per cent.
