English county laments debt woes

Many residents living in Warwickshire towns are struggling to find a debt solution and the Citizens Advice, which has figures to demonstrate the extent of the problem, has been fielding more calls than ever from those in the red.

A shortage of housing affordable to local communities is seen as one of the biggest contributors to rising personal debt figures and Citizens Advice reflects that a number of people are facing the prospect of paying back more than £100,000, reports the Coventry Telegraph.

David Gooding, who works for the Citizens Advice, told the paper that part of the problem for many is that finances have become stretched almost to breaking point in an effort to get onto the housing ladder.

A study backed by the price comparison website moenysupermarket.com recently revealed that millions of Brits are finding it impossible to climb their way out of debt.
