Financial calendar ‘to help’ indebted Brits

Britons struggling with debt management issues may benefit from using a new financial calendar, which has been published by advice website Unbiased.co.uk.

It can be downloaded for free from the portal and chief executive of the company Karen Barrett noted that it is simple to make use of and allows all financial information to be kept in one place.

“This tool offers an accessible and effective way for consmers to keep track of all their important financial dates,” she said.

Those who choose to use it can create a planner that details when future payments are due, with reminders being given when the times approach.

Other existing tools for assistance provided by Unbiased.co.uk include the debt freedom day calculator that details how many days’ work is required to pay interest on amounts owed.

And those in debt can also seek assistance by phoning a newly-launched NHS helpline, called the Stressline.

It provides useful information and advice can be sought from trained members of staff.
