DMP and Assets

We’ve answered some your questions about Debt Management and assets below.

Does it make a difference if I am a homeowner or tenant?

No. It makes no difference whether you are a tenant or homeowner or even if you are still living with your parents.

If I enter into a Debt Management Plan, will I putting my home at risk?

No. One of the benefits of a DMP is that unlike a secured debt consolidation loan, a Debt Management Plan does not put your home at risk. And, unlike an IVA, no contribution from home equity is required.
